Budding artists have the chance to learn the techniques used by Turner and Monet to paint beautiful landscapes at Valentines Mansion.
The historic grade II* listed building is hosting a series of summer art masterclasses exploring landscape painting using watercolours and acrylics.
Led by the Mansion’s talented resident Artist Jason Rose, the classes will explore and discuss the works of Monet and Turner, develop individual technique and reveal handy tips.
After brushing up on their skills, pupils will then have the chance to explore the Mansion grounds before finding a beautiful setting to paint their very own mini masterpiece.
The summer art classes are aimed at those aged 16 and over, and cost £45 per person, which includes the use of all tools and materials on the day.
Each masterclass takes place on the Mansion grounds and lasts from 10am-4pm. Tickets need to be pre-booked via http://www.valentinesmansion.com/.
